Default $4.09 per gallon

Hey guys have a 2010 GMC crew 5.3l home maid CAI and a magnaflo cat back also leveled with 33's get about 16 mpg average just wondering e-85 is at $3.10per gallon can i get a custom tune for that and get better mpg? Thank-you

You would need a better fuel pump, bigger injectors, and a custom tune. You would use more E85 than gasoline.

Your gas mileage will drop roughly 30% if you use e85.

And it just so happens that E85 is roughly 30% cheaper ... Ethanol from corn is a dumb idea.

That's not too shabby really, as far as running the E85 with the cost difference vs the loss in mpg it usually pretty much ends up a wash.

i found the best way to get better mileage is driving style if a drive slow starts slow braking and use the highway as much as posible keeping it about 60-62 mph i get the best mpg if i drive 55 it boggs a little on small grades . if i drive normal and get on it once and a while i get 13-15 if i try to drive slow i get 16-19 19 being all highway no city . if your truck is not tuned i would get it done most trucks pick up 1-1.5 mpg . "IF" you can keep your foot out of it hard to do once you get a good tune lol
