as for ethanol using corn is stupid. if they could work out this whole switchgrass and crop waste idea for ethanol it would be better.

I personally like ethanol its race gas and great for forced induction guys like me. Very knock resistant. but as for saving money. you won't by switching.

if anything you can feel good about yourself for emitting less pollutants into the atmosphere
It smeels good too!!!

With a proper tune, you might get your current mileage on gasoline with E85, but you won't better it.

Ethanol is a rarity for me... There's only two or three stations in my city that sell it.

I hope it stays that way!

I got 20.5 MPG on my last highway trip, and if I keep my foot out of it, I can probably squeak 16 - 17 city driving... Getting about 15 MPG/tank with a fair amount of tromping on the go pedal.

I think that ethanol is a good idea, just not from the way they're doing it. Brazil runs E-100, they may their out of sugar beets, then, the husks are used to fire one of the biggest power plants in the country.

I average about 14 if I'm on the highway a lot. Same size tires plus a leveling kit, but 6.2, 6L80E, and 3.73s. I haven't run E85 yet but I know I'll lose mileage for sure. Maybe I should run a tank just to see.

Over 100. Maybe 105-108, but I don't recall exactly.
