Default 04 cadillac escalade ecm fuse keeps blowing

This is a friend of mine SUV the ecu fuse keeps blowing when you start it. It runs for a sec maybe 2 right before blows. The only thing after market on the whole thing is HID headlights thats been on there for about a year now and this problem just started. Nothing besides that has been done but oil changes. Thanks for the help.

Check for wires rubbing a bracket. I can't think what else runs off of that right now, but follow all the wires. I know one of the cig lighters works off of that. Try unhooking the wire off of that.

How about un hooking the HID ballast. If the Ballast is bad it could be shorting internally over loading the system.
