Default 04 Escalade heater box issue

The controls work and change and all that good stuff, but the blower doesn't run. Would it be the motor or could it be a fuse? Any other ideas?

This is my buddies ride. He just got it from an auction and it has 165k on it

Probably has a melted blower resistor assembly and melted connector. Drop the has panel on the passenger side under the dash. It's a 6 or 7 pin connectorl in a straight line that plugs into the resistor it's held into the case with 2 screws. Look at it and see if it's melted and unplug the connector and look for melted and or heavily discolored pins. If melted get parts at nearest gm dealer
