You should shoot for 01 or 02 PCM, You wont have any issues with them from my personal experience. The only thing youll have to really work with when it comes to installing the harness is that little pin that will slip into the back side of the PCM wiring harness. I cant remember which one it goes on but you will get instructions on how to install it. I believe its Pin number 8 but its been a long time since ive done mine so dont quote me on that one. Anyway once you have that pin in place and the wiring harness (for the PCM) pluged back into the PCM, you will have to set the on and off time for via tuning software.

Its pins red 42 and blue 33 for series parallel low/high fan operation which in my opinion is the only way to do it. I'm going to be doing the same exact swap here pretty shortly. Not thrilled about having to get a new radiator but its 12 years old and 150,000 miles and plastic tanks only last so long. I figured the entire setup fans, harness and radiator will set me back around 400-450 thats buying all new parts too. Do you know if the radiator hoses will work with the 34 inch radiator. It looks like the upper should but I'm not sure about the lower.

i got the fans off here for 150$ shipped a while back. and can get the radiator new for about 85$. so hopefully the harness wont cost too much, and i ahve to get a new pcm. im curious about th erad hoses fitting as well.

Both hoses fit fine. If you can follow a wiring diagram you can make your own harness that is just like nelson's for about half the cost. I am using the exact harness with my LS1 fans and 05 fans...

The lower radiator hose should work. There is enough slack to reuse it.
