Default 07 6.0 liter tune???

i have a question for you guys. i am looking at putting a tune in an otherwise stock 07 6.0 in a 3/4 ton suburban. the truck will be run on 89 octane fuel. the problem is that this is the only mod that will be done to this truck. it is a command vehicle at my fire department and we are looking for the best tuning option that we can find. however as stated before, we cant make any other modifications. my budget is $500. any advise is greatly appreciated.

checkout nelson performance tuning that may go a hair over $500

also try pcmforless both of them are sponsors (see right hand column)

thats not a problem putting a tune only on a stock truck you'll get better mpg and better hp/tq

You could always drive it up here to Baltimore and get a Dyno Tune done. The guy(s) that tune my truck (aren't a sponsor) have done a bunch of trucks on here, and they will not stop until you are happy. You can actually see what gains you are getting as they dyno tune it with a wideband and also take a ride to see how it performs on the street. They have tuned hundreds, maybe thousands of late model GM stuff. PM sent.
