Hey everyone, my friend has a 2001 2500HD with gutted cats, dual flowmaster 40 series, throttle body spacer, and a diablo predator. Here are some pictures:






Anyways, I know my friends with SCT tuned mustangs get a custom tune done, have it emailed to them, then upload it onto their Xcal and then upload it onto their ecm. So first off, Can I do that with the predator? and Will a custom tune help us any with these mods? and if so, where do I get one from?

BTW we basically wanna remove torque managment and add some horsepower, what are the details on this? I'm new to the GM performance world but understand about 75% of what the LSX guys are doing, just not specific things like these

I dont think you can do that. You can get a mail order tune and just swap out the PCM

stittville, ny How would a mail order tune work? could I still use the diablo to change tire sizes?

you can have diablo make a custom tune for you.. look on there website. but i would just ditch them and get a custom tune you be much happier i think..

I may be mistaken but I think if your tuner locks the pcm, then you wont be able to change tire size? verify this cause Im not sure....
