Default ????2003 PCM In A 2000????
Will a PCM out of a 2003 Silverado work in my 2000 Silverado? I'm looking for a spare PCM to get tuned, and a buddy of mine has one out of a 2003.

i pm'ed the guys that would know but I believe you can go up to a 2002. but don't quote me.

03 up are drive by wire..latest you can go is 02 like dewey said

99 to 02 pcm are 512kB and 03 and up are 1 MB

Yah 99-02 are blue and red connectors, and 03 and up are blue and green connectors. So yes 02 is as new as you can go.
