2bar MAP with MAF enabled
Everyone keeps talking about ditching their MAF and going to SD using a 2bar MAP. If you're NOT maxing out the MAF, could you run a 2bar MAP with a MAF successfully?
What would be the advantages and disadvantages of doing this?

Yes you can. You still need to run a custom os so you have the extra or extended MAP tables to utilize the extra range of the 2 bar map. I don't see any problem with running a MAF even if you are maxing it. All it does is fail the MAF and go into SD for the remaining time the vehicle is running. Then when you shut if off, it will reset and your back running MAF with SD as backup. The MAF seems to have a little more forgiveness for conditions such as temp and altitude changes over SD. That's my option.
