Are we talking street tunes vs track tunes when we are turning off PE. I don't see turning off my PE on the street. I can and have gone to 6000 rpm without going into boost while tuning VE. I don't want to be at 14.7 AFR there.

The only reason I have my P.E is to help fuel my low boost/no meth setting, after 2400 rpm, my table drops to 1.07 then 1.05 then 1.02 at 4000 rpm....

You can still handle this in the VE table and Commanded Fuel x RPM. Does HPT keep you from this somehow?

yeah, that table justin posted up is what you are talking about right? the commanded fuel x rpm? yeah we don't have one of those. nowhere that i know of can we command an afr at any rpm/kpa. The open loop table is only temp based. PE multiplier is only rpm based. and BE multiplier is only kpa based. we have the ve table as a base and then the multiplier tables (only an x-axis)

AHHH!!! Now I understand.

In that case, PE may not be redundant for HPT

I think the answer is to tune my VE table in boost regions for meth unless I can run PE Enrich leaner than Boost Erich + Meth which I doubt.

I have put a request in to HPT for a Boost Enrich vs rpm vs map table. Doubt it will happen but no harm requesting.

You need fuel for load not RPM. (that's why is called PE) If your at 5000 rpm and no load, no boost (why would you ever be there anyway??) doesen't mean you need 11.5. 14.7 would not hurt a thing there. How often do you drive around in first gear anyway??
