Also.
In Fuel Control-power enrich
Enrichment rate, set it at 4
Also you can set the PE enable TPS in the Hot table lower.Let say from 90% to 70%.

Yep,what 03sierraslt wrote.Time to do some reading......

I dont even use the Hot Table.

You may find if you set the enrich rate to 4 it may overshoot your afr, If so then back it off to like 2 or so. This setting just determines how fast you get to your target AFR. Hense- enrich rate.

Ok, read some guides, working on VE table now.. I will post an update in a few days whenever I think I have it smoothed out enough, and get done with VE and MAF tuning.

Thanks a bunch guys!

Ok, the VE table was not off by much anywhere.. most I was was a 3-4 variance.. adjusted it, then not much off at all..

But it is still getting to 15's at idle for AFR.. but while cruising it is mostly staying right at 14.6-14.8 or so, fairly reasonable now.

I will still be working on this throughout the next week, but where would yall say to start looking to figure out why at idle it is still jumping to 15's? Think it needs more driving for the LTFT to relearn?

Go to HPT > Engine > General > Cylinder Volume. Change that to 0.83624 from your value of 0.74590. You will need to go back and redo your Ve again. Many of the top tuners say this has no impact on Ve (fueling) however I feel there is an impact based on what I have seen going froma 364 to a 408.

BTW, with any sizeable cam (with + overlap) your narrowbands and even wideband are worthless at IDLE, IMHO. Idling at 15AFR isn't that bad either... all of course IMHO.

Ok, I lowered the idle to I could see the cells at 800 for the VE table and found some more nagatives.. adjusted the VE table and smoothed it out some more, but it is still showing lean, mostly just a random lean spike cruising speed, or during deceleration... So my question is this: Does lowering the numbers on VE table cause that cell to run more lean, or more rich? Or does it not have a direct effect on it? Does it matter that I still have the MAF disabled after the adjustment, or do I need to turn it back on before I would see the change?

I still have loads more reading to do, and will continue to work on this throughout the week!

Thanks again guys,
Lurius

cruise-highest id set it would be around 15.5. idle around 14 depends on what your cam likes. wot 12.8-13
