Default 4l80 swap, no crank..

Ok, swapped in the 80 and with it still on jack stands I tried to start it with no avail. It will not crank at all and yes, I checked all fuses, swapped relays, bought a new NSS, did the park/neutral switch adjustment procedure, and made sure I didn't screw up the wires on the crank position sensor. I am officially lost... Anyone run into something like this on their swap?

Grounds would probably make sense because I am popping a 1518 code when I installed the LS3 TB. I just find it weird that it would start before and I never messed with any of them.

UPDATE:

repaired ground wire...the only one that looked a little questionable, replaced starter, replaced plugs on NSS, replaced NSS.....still no crank...

Anyone have any other ideas? Before I just say f&*k it and install a push button start...

what happens when you jump from the 12v battery post on the starter solenoid to the ignition post? how are your connections on the starter? what is the symptom when you turn the key besides not cranking?

It will crank, connections are good. Just tested and am not even getting anything on the starter relay.

that narrows it down a bit then. next question, when you turn your key on does the fuel pump and everything else kick on like normal?

Yes, everything powers on just like normal. Lights go out, but starter relay doesn't click or anything.

Did you connect the small wire at the starter, on the wrong post?
