i did more investigating. its no the internal harness on the trans.
i also disconnected the computer and turned the key forward to see if it will reset the trans gauges indicator. to which is didnt. im stumped.
all wiring has been triple checked by different people including myself and other friends.
last resort is to get with blackbear and see what year segment swap he did for my 80e. if he used a 03 and older like most are then maybe the 04 and up internal harness change had a different temp sensor inside of it. i wish i could figure this out.
also i hooked a snap on morphis up to it and the trans temp was reading 144 degrees when it went into transmission hot mode. so i have no clue!!
