Default 4l80e lost all gears... Need opinions

Got an 03 awd silverado ss with 4l80e swap. Tranmission never gave me problems. I installed a viper smartstart system, alarm worked fine. When it came to driving out of the electronics shop it wouldnt catch any gear. You can drop into any gear you want but it just revs up like its in neutral. This ever happen to any of yall? Any info is helpful. Thanks guys

Did you interrupt any wiring for immobilization purposes when installing the viper system, aside from ignition?

I didnt install it. The electronic shop offered to have a mechanic look at it but i said no! I didnt want just some random boof mechanic to mess it up more. U have an idea what wire could have caused this? Fuse? Anything?

I'm going to take a stab in the dark. I used to work at audio shops and I have installed alarm systems in the past, unfortunately I have no clue what exactly you had done or the electrical competence of the person who performed the work.
When installing systems such as remote start/alarms, most systems have to have the ignition lead cut, the ends of these leads sometimes run to a relay or the module/brain, so that when the system is alert, the vehicle is immobilized. These wires tend to be easy to access in the steering column, if the installer cut into the wrong wire or something he could have cut a signal line that transmits signal from the shifter to trans.

Of course this is just hypothetical but i have seen things of this nature happen from poor installs. I would ask the shop to trace back over their wiring and check everything and confirm the wiring is correct. Sometimes removing the module/system back to stock can fix these things, if so then the product was faulty - unlikely, or the installer goofed. Seeing as how those systems should have nothing to do with shifting then that could be the problem. Also, if someone lifted a ground wire something may not be working properly.

On the prnd There should be a _ under the park. And moves well you change gears. If the _ don't show the you park neutral. Is not working. If I'm right they have cut in to p/n to hook it up to keep theives from moving shifter

Ive been told if it was electrical or even the tranny connection was unpluged it should still go into reverse and second gear! But it dont budge a bit! Any body else think about something it might be let me know.. I appreciate it, thanks guys!
