Yea...who is this "Vince @ FLT"
He acts like he knows alot about tranmissions or something. How many "performance" transmissions have you built Vince?

Well I'm back. I am working on the Tahoe 4L80E tune right now. Just wanted to update everyone. I will go give her a test run in a minute and see what happens.
For those interested, the attached tune is what I am about to upload. I went back through this thread and think I made all the adjustments recommended. Feel free to double check

seems good to me, but what the hell do i know. Something i like to do with mine it to set the performance setting a bit higher, and use tow haul for optimal shift points. I know ur radixed, so i dont know if they spin those to 6100 or not haha.

Mixed results. I need to do another couple of runs. The 1st run after the reflash didn't change anything. I think I even spun up to 6400 before I heard a skip in the engine (Fuel cutoff I bet) and a woosh like a wastegate Maybe the exhaust hiccuping. I dunno.
The 2nd run felt like it shifted at 5200 as the tune is set. But my question is why? Seems like it should overrun at least a few hundred rpm since the 6000rpm shift was bouncing off the 6400 fuel cutoff originally.
I haven't had a chance to look at the logs. Got to run the kids to soccer and baseball.
Take a look tuners! Logs attached

That 6600 was not supposed to happen. I had the 1-2 shift set to 5200. I never spin over 6200 anyway because I don’t make any power over 6000. I do have Katech rod bolts so I know it will hold together, but like I said, I'm not making anymore power so I shift at 6000 or so. I find it odd that at 6000rpm I am already at 100 IDC. I remember when on the dyno I was seeing 80% at 6000. I wonder if my boost-a-pump is on the fritz.

Anybody see why the 1st log let me go to 6600 and didn’t shift until I let out and the 2nd log shifted at 5200ish? Same tune, less than 5 minutes between runs.
