6.0L tuning issues!
I am completely baffled with this truck, its a 2006 ecsb 4wd 2500 6.0l 5spd. I have tuned several vehicles w/o any issues, but this truck is doing strange things. I am removing the tq mgmt, raising the speed and rev limiters, turning the injectors up a hair, and bumped the timing up a degree or two. When this truck is in neutral it sounds like the baddest thing alive, but as soon as its put in gear, it goes into a "limp" mode. It doesn't throw any dtc's or nothing. If I put in a tune with just tq mgmt removed I can watch the vcm scanner and at full throttle it pulls at least 7 degrees of timing out of it, and its weak. Any advice or ideas guys.

When I say turn the injectors up, I go into the injector flow rate and high light all the numbers and I press the + key and it turns the flow up a small %, somewhere in the neighborhood of .03 each time the key is pressed. I would post the tune file up If I new how.

Don't **** with the IFR (injector flow rate) unless you actually changed injectors, tuning by changing the IFR is considered butchering the tune. STOP IT!
Now, read the stickies and you will be set to do a proper tune. And to post up a tune, simply select Advance Reply and you will have an option of uploading several kinds of files, one of which would be an HPT file.

The IFR table is there to allow the computer to know the actual flow rate of the injector. You aren't increasing the injectors flow rate by changing that. As for the limp mode, what code are you getting?
