Default 80e segment swap through HPtuners

I've had this done already, but something doesn't seem right on how the trans acts and the way the converter won't lock-up. I'm going to send HPT my stock file and a donor.

Question is, since my truck is an 04 should I find an 04 2500 or and year 03-07?

For some reason I read that 05+ had something else in the tuning for the segment swap that 04's didn't have. I could be wrong. I also believe I did send them an 05 or 06 donor file but I am having these issues. Is there any truth to this?

Thanks

OK, I found this old thread of mine. Sorry, but anymore insight since it has been a few years?

It seems worse now. I guess what really pisses me off is it won't lock when it should. The tuner couldn't get it to lock when on the dyno doing a pull

I guess I will also look more into using the 60e file
