Okay. thank you. thats good to know. i know the black box pcm isnt terrably bad for tuning. so would this option be good from a performance stand point later on for big mods such as forced induction that require alot of tuning? i know you can tune the black box with some of the programs such as tunercats if im not mistaken. but the 411 support is a whole lot better to have from what i understood

If you are doing an LS swap the Black PCM is not an option. The Black PCM will not run a Gen3 engine. There is a LOT more software and tuner shop support for the 411 PCM than the Black PCM.

I have personaly found that the 1 meg PCM works much better than the 0411, but you need to have the correct service number. The 1 meg PCM was used from 2003 to 2010. This PCM has some major advantages. GM built the GMT-400's (the body sytle before the Siverado's) until 2006.

Thats what i thought. so that why i was wondering what the best option would be. to run standalone or 2 pcm integration or what?
