Sorry about the lack of updates. The weather here has been bad lately and I've had a lot of other things going on. I'll give results as soon as I can find the time to do the diagnostics.

As far as grounds, I had already checked all of the grounds. They are intact and tight, but the ground at the battery terminal did have some corrosion. I cleaned it, but there was no change. I haven't tried the relays yet.

On another note, I forgot to mention for the past couple of weeks it has had a weird issue that may or may not be related. When I turn the key, it starts for second and then immediately dies. It does this over and over every time I try until I turn the key to the off position for 10 seconds then, when I try it fires right up.

Sounds crank sensor related like i mentioned before, if you get the time pull the main belt off and do whatever you can to tryand tug around on the crank. If not try a new crank sensor and relearn?

I always hate reading through forums, finding problems that sound like mine, and then there is never a conclusion, so I wanted to give the final word on my problem. I know it's been a while since I've given any updates, but I haven't had any luck until this month. I did some more reading and troubleshooting, and I finally figured out the problem. The driver's side fuel rail had a lot of black soot in it that had accumulated at the end of the rail and had stopped up the #7 injector.

I cleaned out the fuel rails with carb cleaner. I cleaned the injectors by pushing a hose onto the top of each injector, squirting carb cleaner into the hose, hooking up some wires to the injector and touching them to a 9v battery so I could cycle the injector while blowing on the hose to push the carb cleaner through. Then, reassembled with some new o-rings.

Problem solved! No random engine misfire. A lot more power. And much better gas mileage.
