99 esky cluster trans temp ? ecu tune question.

Well it is actually my original cluster, i just sent it to a guy on ebay for the conversion and he did an excellent job on the peice, added the temp gage, trim trings etc etc, looks oem quality its just that the needle never seems to move, just sits a bit off of the lowest point,, im running a flt level 7 with a Circle D 2800 converter and a tru cool 40 k cooler, so i expected to see some variation, guess maybe not.
Also ive heard/read from a tuners perspective that the 99 ecu is the worst, so i figured that might also have something to do with it.

If you have access to a scan tool of some sort you should be able to find the transmission temp reading somewhere in the transmission data display list. I know it shows up on the Tech 2 on about everything.
