Default AEM UEGO Broke?

Problem: Wideband GAUGE says 13:1 AFR while EFI PID says 15:1 AFR.

A: Gauge took a **** and I need a new one? The plugs on the back get really hot and actually melted the housing a tad.
B: I need a better power/Ground connection? Have it plugged in to Cig Lighter for easy vehicle to vehicle usage.
C: All of the above.

Why would the sensor cause the gauge to put out 2 separate AFR's? I have 2 sensors so I can try them both to see.

I see your point, I didn't think about that. I had an AEM sensor go bad last year. Any time I tipped into the throttle, it read 10.0 no matter what.

I'd probably try the better power & ground connections first, but they are the same power & ground that the sensor is using. So, it might just be the gauge. Try to borrow somebody's gauge, plug it in & see if it reads correctly then.

no one around here has one except the dyno shop and I doubt he'll let me borrow it.
I'm looking to buy a used one later this week I think.

I'm gonna try a better power source and see where we sit.

Got a new wideband and found the prob. Power wires going into the wideband weren't getting a good connection. I'll repin it later and have 2 good widebands
