Default Air bag light delete

So I took out the driver air bag when I changed steering wheels. I want to keep the passenger air bag operational. What do I need to do to trick the computer into thinking the driver air bag is still attached? I cant seem to find a wire diagram or what the computer is looking for. Thanks

As far as I know there is no way to accomplish this successfully. But if I'm wrong im all ears to see it done successfully. what truck is this on. year
This is for your 04 Theoretically you should be able to use a ohm meter read the air bag stage 1,2 inflator circuit resistance on the actual airbag itself then cut the plugs off of the clock spring and then wire a set of resistors that match the airbag resistance and you are good to go. The information given below is the threshold at which the SDM will set a DTC as per gm shop manual. So you could theoretically say pic a number in the middle of 1.3 and 4.8 ohms and that would be a happy median resistor to use. Id ohm the airbag though and go with that number.

DTC B0012-stage 2 or B0016-stage 1 will set when the SDM detects the I/P module deployment loop resistance is less than 1.3 ohm for 500 milliseconds .
DTC B0013-stage 2 or B0017-stage 1 will set when one of the following conditions occurs:
The SDM detects the I/P module deployment loop resistance is greater than 4.8 ohm for 500 milliseconds .
The SDM detects the voltage at I/P module high control is less than 2.4 volts and I/P module deployment loop resistance is 6 ohm or greater for 500 milliseconds .
DTC B0014-stage 2 or B0018-stage 1 will set when one of the following conditions occurs:
The SDM detects the voltage at I/P module high control is shorted to ground or voltage for 500 milliseconds .
The SDM detects the voltage at I/P module high control is less than 2.4 volts and I/P module deployment loop resistance is less than 6 ohm for 500 milliseconds

Sorry, this is for my 99. Didnt think to ohm the airbag, good idea. Also wasnt sure if the BCM was looking for a certain resistance or just a ground/ signal

My voltmeter wouldnt read a resistance in the air bag, but I am going to try a ~3ohm resistor anyway.

Yep, should just be able to complete the circuit with a resistor. Between the dark green and white wires.

Its on because my EBCM(?) is broke so I pulled the abs fuse. Get rid of it as in fix it or pull the light, havent decided which yet. Havent tried the resistor yet.

Pull the bulb out of the cluster

atleast i think its removeable.. if not, then cut the curcuit board wire.

i know the 4wd light is a LED on the board, i crushed mine and drilled it out, put in a led and wired it to my nitrous arm switch.
Arm the kit and looky there, 4wd light comes on red
