Yes you are correct. E10' stoich is 14.13. So if your gauge is reading 14.68 and you are displaying values on the gasoline scale, then you are actually burning at 14.13.

Lambda Lambda Lambda and all of this goes away.

so my question remains... if its reading lambda and converting it to gasoline scale then how would it be possible that I need to run a richer mixture when i spray meth. I more or less am tuning using lambda... the gauge is just showing a number that makes me feel more warm and fuzzy inside.

Because different fuels run best at different lambda values. Every fuel has different characteristics. Just because gasoline may make its best power at 0.78 lambda under boost, doesn't mean an engine running E85 or methanol or both fuels will like the same value.

That is why you want to know where meth makes best power, and where gasoline makes best power, and come up with a good AFR or lambda based on how much of each fuel you are running.

I only tune in lambda, and my pillar gauge is set to 14.68. Under boost I shoot for .77, and cruising I shoot for 1.00. I did not know that different fuels call for a different lambda under boost. What is everyone else shooting for?

But, I want to run E30 , 30 gph meth , 5 gallons of c16 and the rest 93 pump.
What Lambda???

I would still shoot for .77, but this thread has me wondering now...

I have been shooting for 11.50 / .785 A . But I always end up richer , like 10.8-11.2 or so.
