Default Any GM techs/Airbag experts?

Anyone come across a B0090 airbag code?dam light stays on,it will go off if you turn the activated manual switch to air bag ON.This started when i unpludded my cluster with the key on.It wouldnt clear with the scanner that retived the code.Any help would be appercaiated.2000 sierra

DTC B0090 Active switch voltage out of range
What are the odds I replace the switch and it takes care of it?Went to the dealer, they dont stock it,they must rarely fail??????Local want $78,online OE dealer $51

Maybe the connection at the cluster isn't fully plugged in?

What brand of scanner are you using...is it possible that the scanner is not fully capable of clearing the code?

Snap on.I looked like it was trying to clear the code ,the light would blink off and back on for a split second when clearing.

Wierd, sounds like it clears and the scanner immediately picks up a fault. Did you remove and reinstall the same cluster, or did you replace the cluster? Possible compatability issue? It's real coincidental how the problem happened the same time that the cluster was unplugged...would make ya think that the problem should be able to be traced back to that.
