Anyone else SCT tuned?Truck runs GREAT!
Anyone else using the SCT xcal?Custom tunes get put on a hand held and u flash your ecu,keeping your stock tune.The tuner can check and clear codes,change tire and gear sizes,and allow storage of up to 3 custom tune files.
Just got my truck street tuned today and it run GREAT.Id say it easily added 40-50hp to the wheels from the base tune.Reason for such a pickup was my truck was running lean at 15.1 a/f and was pulling 6 degrees.Tuner was able to add another 6 degrees for a total of 24.2nd gear is down right nasty for a big truck!
When I get the new engine in,we are going to put the truck on a AWD dyno to extract max hp,still using the SCT software.I am impressed with the gains my truck saw from the custom SCT tune for sure!
