Anyone ever mess with spark dwell in HPT?

The numbers on the chart are all over the place. Some 22.xxx, some 3.xxx. Are you saying to raise all the numbers under 7 to 7? I added 0.2 to the whole chart ( cause I'm a sissy) and feel little to no difference.....but after I get an answer to my question, I'm trying it!

Don't listen to me because i'm in the same boat. But what i think he's saying is to raise everything in th 12-14 volt range to 7.

If you don't notice any differance just put it back to stock no sense putting any extra wear on the coils if it does not help.

It should help with spark blowout with high boost? What do you think?

I have had mine at 7 for a long time I am actually the person that requested to ken at HP tuners to put it into the software. There is a dwell time modifier that uses the map sensor you can leave the main table alone and put 1.15 in the 95 kpa table and 1.3 in the 100 kpa table in the dwell time modifier vs dwell table, and this will only raise the dwell at boost. just another way to do it (cheap MSD)

Thats what i'm looking for. Sure beats the hell out of buying them high dollor coils I know i'm a cheap bastard

Im interested in this
better spark hopefully better combustion less chance of detonation, maybe I can get some more part throttle timing out of it.
Need more info

I am trying to find a motec manual I had that explained coil saturation time in dept but I think it did the vanishing act. I will see if I can dig up some simple articles on this subject so it is easy to understand.
