there are 4 adding tables the map table is 1 so it doesnt do **** the other 3 tables 2 are subtracting 1 is adding. Since this isnt something that can be logged directly we need to know when the max and min tables are used unless we just put 1's in all the cells
So if you set the value to 7 it will be a max of actually 9.1 and a minimum of 6.3
the stock values are close to 7 at max allready. I think the trick is to change the modify tables not just the base table.

if you set the base table to 7 from 12 to 14v you are actually running 9.1 at max. The real question is though when is the max table used, Im gonna post on HPT. This is why its good to read as much as possible before just jumping in and changing stuff.

from what jimmy blue has posted you dont gain anything after the coils are saturated there is a certain time, after that wattage and heat build up and kill things. The question is what is that time?
obviously we arent close to it with the stock values
Bueller.....Bueller....Bueller
anyone?
Might have to call delphi

Like I said if its not broke don't fix it, if you have missfire or a weak ignition turning them up to 7 ms may help or if your at the track and you pick up a 10th or so great but if nothing happens just leave the settings stock.

logged ignition voltage and it varies from 13.4 to 13.6 I bumped up the dwell to give a max of around 7.3ms at logged running voltage I think it has helped slightly seems to be more consistent and I am running a little more timing.
anyone know what dictates use of the max and min adder tables?
