Anyone had problems with tranny not shifting at WOT?
Posted this over at LS1Tech as well....
My WOT shift settings are set as follows:
Shift....RPM.....Speed
1-2......5700....55.0
2-3......5700....95.0
3-4......5700....145.0
I have logged two runs and I reach both RPM and MPH shift points and the PCM still is not commanding a shift. I have a log showing 63 mph, 6300 RPM in 1st, scan tool shows 1st gear commanded still, and I have a log showing 104 mph, 6150 RPM in 2nd and scan tool shows 2nd gear commanded. What's the deal?

Ditch that stupid 80 and get a built 65e.
J/K, I wish I could help, there has got to be another table or something holding you back. I haven't got to play with EFI live yet.

I've got a couple of stock 4L80E files that I have looked through. Do you guys think it might have something to do with the Throttle Kickdown tables? My 2-1 kickdown tables are 100% across the board, and my 3-2 kickdown are like this:
LABELS Shift mode
MPH {link: SAE.VSS} Normal
0 0.000000
8 0.000000
16 0.000000
24 46.249389
32 65.179443
40 76.562500
48 83.984375
56 89.804077
64 99.996948
72 99.996948
80 99.996948
88 99.996948
96 99.996948
104 99.996948
112 99.996948
120 99.996948
128 99.996948
I just wonder if it's commanding a 2-1 kickdown somewhere in the background, so it never actually hits the upshift??
litreddevil let me know what he says, thanks!
Haha that's my style. I'm tired of babying this stuff worrying that it's gonna break. Might as well test it out right from the start

I messed with the WOT shift points per recommendations from a couple of people on the EFILive forum. This is strange. When I have 1-2 WOT shifts set at 55mph/5700 RPM truck doesn't shift even at 63mph/6300 RPM. I now have them set at 40mph/5500 RPM and it shifts at 51mph/5100RPM. I'll mess with it till I get the shifts where I want, but this is strange.....

I ran in to this exact issue last year when I did my swap. (6.0 and 80 at same time). I had a bad vss. Probably F-ed it up during the swap. But mine would shut down(fuel cutoff) due to the Badd vss fuel cutoff setting. It's funny that you can set the mph lower and it will now shift though. Weird.
