anyone lockup the TC in 3rd at part throttle?

I have a 80E, so I'm not sure if you guys are talking about the 60E or not. I have mine set to shift up early and lockup in both 3rd and 4th under very light throttle in "normal" mode. This is with a 6.0. I can't see how it can possibly harm the TCC under light loads.
I'm trying to improve fuel economy in daily driving mixed city/highway commuting. So far with my HPtuners I've managed to increase my average from 15.8 to 17.6 mpg (imperial gallon) mostly through shift points and ignition timing. My straight highway mpg has gone from 19.4 to 21.9.
My "tow mode" is much better now too, and actually works for towing, which the stock settings never seemed to be very good at...
