The card-style on my Colorado has done just fine for 80K miles. Tuning, running a dry shot before I had the wet-kit on the truck, etc., has been no problem at all.

That looks like the stock harness connector will plug right onto the new card MAF. Is that true?

Well i have everything on order. I got the connector off of ebay, a new IAT sensor and harness from summit. I picked up the IAT sensor just incase i dont like how the IAT sensor response in the new MAF. I got all the couplers and tbolt clamps coming as well.

The u-build-it tube showed up the other day. It is 4in outside diamter which is kinda a bummer. You can see the inside width below. I will say this about the tube, it is THiCK ABS plastic so that is good.

Here is the pinout for the MAF incase anyone is interested. The sensor is labeled so it is pretty easy swap

MAF part
Pin A yellow - MAF signal to ECM
Pin B black/white - ground
Pin C pink - ignition 1 voltage from fuse block
IAT part
Pin D tan - low reference from ECM
Pin E tan - intake air temp signal to ECM
