On a serous note, anybody know how stable the connection with a usb to serial adapter?

I wouldn't trust anything other than a PCMCIA/PC Card to Serial adapter.

the guys on HPtuners forum say it needs time to connect, but once it does, it s doesnt interrupt...

I've heard the PCMCIA to serial adapter is the way to go.

yeah some times its bithc to connect this way but after an hour or so of trying once your in your good to go....

im on my 8600 right now, only problem is its weight but i dont take many places, no problems yet, except this thing on startup that makes you hit F1 #m1004 error, good luck with everything
