Default ???? Buy hp tuner or mail order ????

I have to swap cars a 79 trans am and a 94 truck... Both are supercharged... The trans am has been reflashed already (vat... emissions ect) but needs to have injectors reprogrammed... The truck has to be reflashed and both car and truck will need a tune.... So should I mail order both tunes and reflash for 400 and still need a tune...

dyno tune at a real shop. mail order is worthless. hp tuners is worthless if you dont know what your doing,. and the curve is steep. most people just copy other tunes and dont know whats really going on.

I have EFI live. I still don't know how to use it much at all but I bought it from Blackbear so he helps me and dose most of my tuning so far. It has 2 licences and can support 10.

A mail order tune is not bad at all if you have a fairly simple set up. There is so much data on what these engines do with certain mods that a mail order tune can get you in great shape most of the time.

You would be foolish to not invst in tuning software. Like I said do it from blackbear and you will never have an issue. He will take care of you for the life of your car hobby.

Only go hptuners if someone can help/teach you. Otherwise live tunes all around.
