Cam in a stock 5.3???

Hypothetically speaking, if you were to install a Z06 cam would you need to get re-tuned?

100% yes. Mine Idled like ****. The tune also added a lot more power and also made the rev limiter and shift points work with the cam. Mine pulls hard up to 6200. I probably could have gone to 6300. Not worth doing the cam if you aren't going to tune it.

Well, that's just wonderful. Looks like I'll be waiting until at least September when my tuner returns home.
