Did you screen the new MAF? If so, what's the reason? I've ran a card-style for going on two years with no screen and encountered no problems.
It looks nice finished, though. Do you have any numbers as far as intake temp goes? How much worse is the heat soak?

Very nice write up... I'm curious as to the reasoning behind the post-maf air screen... I wouldn't think it would affect the airflow ahead of it but I am probably wrong. I really like the iat sensor you used, makes it nice not to have to weld on a bung. Do you think the sensor fits tight enough in the grommet to prevent a leak on a boosted setup? Also, is this the same sensor that is used on the NNBS trucks? I was under the impression that they were an improvement over the older style maf's as far as maxing the sensor
