Exclamation Charging issue??? Says battery not charging but really is???

I recently put a LQ4 in my 05 V6 truck. The motor did not come with a harness. So I purchased one for an 06 Escalade. It requires a 2 pin 145 amp alternator. I hooked everything up and it displays "Battery Not Charging" on my information screen on my dash. I checked voltage and it's fine. It stays a constant 13.70. I really can't figure out the problem. I drove the truck for about an hour last night and had zero problems. All accessories were on too. Anyone ever had this problem??? I really need some help. I have hp tuners. I just want the display to go away. Maybe something in hp where I can remove this???

I remember reading something like this on here before but don't know what the issue was. Edit: Was your alternator a 2 pin or 3 pin?

I read that. His actually wasn't charging his battery, and mine is. It charges just fine. Just says "Battery not Charging" on the display.

I'm no tuning expert, but where did u get the tune ur running? First place to look wud be the HPT blog...there's gotta be a table to alter, if not u might need to download a fresh 'Lade operating tune to work with that harness...R/

Sorry, I didn't see this thread until tonight.
It is either P1637, Generator L-terminal circuit, or P1638, generator F-terminal circuit. Mine are both set for 3- no error reported.
(In editor go to Engine Diag; click on DTCs; scroll down to P1637)
