Default Cluster problems

Help me out guys. I'm working on a truck that was in a fire. Somebody re spliced all the burnt wires. It runs but when you take it out of park the cluster quits working. You have any idea how I can fix it. It's a 99 2500 chevy truck. Anyone know what color the ignition wire on the cluster is?

If you're trying to get a fire-salvaged truck running correctly again, I would recommend buying yourself a subscription to Alldata DIY. The number of diagrams I think you will need to diagnose a fire-damaged truck will be too many to post here.

I was wrong about the splicing I was going off what they said. The harness that was burned was replaced with a new one.

How do you even know if the connected everything??? You best bet is to purchase something like alldata for schematics. That way you can check the wiering at all the connections.

It may not even be the dash wireing. It could be the cluster it self is bad.
