Connecting LC-1 to HP Tuners cable
Did a search on this site, nothing. The help file in HP Tuners shows a cable that I don't even have, so I'm not sure how to connect it. The only spare cable from the LC-1 is something like the 2.5mm audio cable for cell phones:

How does this connect to the scan cable? I've got the little green connector, but no idea what needs to plug into it.

You must have got it used and didn't get a cable?

Wiring it to the PCM is a cool idea, but it sounds even more complicated.
I got the software and hardware all new. There is another 2.5mm to serial cable, but I can't use it because the scan cable only has the 8 pin green connector, and my laptop doesn't have a serial port. In fact I haven't seen a newer laptop with a serial connector in some time...

Page 4 of the PDF says you have an interface and power cable with 6 or 7 stripped ends, and it tells you what they are. Go to step 6 on that page. The yellow or brown wire go to the green HP Tuners plug.

I just did this with an LM-1...if you are changing the settings in the LC-1 using a serial cable you will have to change the serial settings/speed.
The you'll have the head phone jack, one wire gets put into the green connector for your HPT, and the second gets the ground in the green plug, I think it the last one.
Then you'll have to set up your wideband inside HPT and make sure its reporting the correct value: great link for how to set up wideband
