I just can't believe with all the Stalled GMT900's on here that I've never heard of this. I probably would have done quite a few others things before doing a converter if I had known about it.

I see no reason why you cant have an aftermarket converter lock and unlock like stock... Make a new log, log only the pids that have to due with the trans and the tcc function....

from what I understand, it is acting like stock. The stock trucks with T42 TCM's always unlock the converter when you let off the gas. Its just that with the stock converter you dont notice it because the stall speed is so low.

My 08 model does the same thing with the Yank 4000. My tuner says this is normal for the 70-08 models and there is no way fix it with tuning. It is programmed to unlock when you let all the way off the throttle at any speed.

I've noticed if you are on the interstate and have the cruise engaged it will stay locked even when slowing down. The cruise must not let all the throttle pressure off when slowing down like you would with your foot.
