Default Crank Relearn scanners???

What all scanners/tools can do the crank relearn? I know the tech II, EFILive can but what other scanners are able to perform it? I have heard about a snap-on scanner that could possibly take care of it but never got a straight answer on this. Every dealer is trying to charge way to much money for a 10 min procedure. My truck is running fine so i can live with the SES light for now but my money needs to be elseware at the moment. So can someone verify exactly which scan tools can complete this task? Thanks

Mine wouldn't relearn with the snap on, but it worked with tech 1

Look around and find a independent shop that won't charge a arm and a leg for doing it and that you can just wait while they do it.

Just call around most bigger shops have the equipment needed. If they say they do diagnostics that would help.

The dealer here in Cali wanted $135 to do it and if they did do it he said it would erase any mods done to the pcm. Its frustrating when you talk to three different people and get three different answers, arent these guys supposed to be the "professionals".

If they only do a crank learn it will not mess with your program. If you were in Ventura California I would do it for free just because I'm a nice guy. Dealers don"t try to be asses they just don't know any better or they have a higher power that is trying to get rich quick.

If you know anybody that works at any GM dealer, just try to walk around back, and talk to a tech themselves. Really....it only takes 5 min. max! Just make sure truck is warmed up, and no other conditions exist. Just stuff a $20, or so in the guy's pocket, and call it good!
