Here's is what i'm working with. Customers 2006 Silverado 5.3 Just installed turbo system. 8psi for now. I use EFI Live for tuning and there 2 and 3 bar Custom Operating Systems for boost. The problem is that EFI live stopped there COS's in 05! Now i have flashed in a 05 OS but the DBW and TAC modules are different from 03-05 and 06-08 I can not use an older OS's, truck will start and idle off it but soon as your give it gas it throws a TAC code and falls into reduce power mode.
My question is, has anyone swaped 03-05 DBW and TAC module to an 06-08 I don't have much research in it as of yet all i know is from this post over at EFI Live forum

Love to figure this out, i am sure someone else has ran into it before with the boosted 06-08 if there using EFI Live.

at 7 psi on my 6.0 I had the maf maxed out and it was just a guessing game. Supposedly Justin said I am the first and only person he has done this for.
I went through this with justin, I swaped my tac and pedal to a 2004 matching (came out of the same truck). I am not 100% sure what justin did on his end but I am now running a OS out of a 2004 hd truck. Its a cos3 and I haven't had any problems other than the accelerator was very touchy at first and I have since had it retuned by a guy in Baton Rouge LA and its perfect! I would direct you to Justin@bbp but you will most likely have to purchase a tune or pay him to have him fix the tune for you because I am not familiar with this.

MAFF tune is not an option for us. Going up to 12-13 psi maybe 15. See how much a stock 5.3 will take.
lownslo: so all you did was swap pedal and tac module ( matching years of course ) install them and have justin setup the tune for you? No other wiring needed?
