the tune can fix it. because earlier this week I was turnkey'ing a 2005 L33 and it had the standard problem. I already had a 2006 L33 tune that was an upgrades OS done so I did a write entire flash. so put the 2006 tune on the 2005, and the pedal throw was then correct.
I will get you the numbers when I get to the shop later.

Yeah, that's kind of my problem right now. I have my tune customized for 12v+ AC request (instead of serial data), and I'm up to COS3 with EFI Live. I guess if I found a tune file that worked properly with my pedal and tac, I could probably segment swap the AC changes???
There's a bunch of 2003-2006 van/truck/avalanche tune files over on holdencrazy for efilive. I could just start downloading and flashing them all to see if I can find one that works.
Would be very time consuming though!!!

you mentioned "12v+ ac request (instead of serial data). this is a feature i wanted to use for offroading to be able to bump the idle up when using the a/c compressor for air, and played around with. but quickly realized the ac is controlled by the BCM. how did you get it be "12v+ request"?
I imagine you could acquire an entire tune file form an 04 express van, write entire, and you'd have similar functionality???

C2 Pin 17 is the 12v AC request signal wire for an 04 express van. I had someone modify my tune to use that instead of the serial wire (I'm assuming it was a segment swap).

TAC 12588923, (can't read number on pedal) gave me 100% pedal = 50% throttle blade. the pedal is the metal adjustable short throw style.
TAC 12590008, PEDAL 15107594 gave me 100% = 100%. this pedal is the short throw plastic one.
TAC 12588923, with LARGE THROW NON-Adjustable metal pedal also gave me 100% = 100%
So, still somewhat mysterious IMO. so for me the same tac module produced different results depending on what pedal used. sounds like the pedal sensors must be different then. unfortunately i can't read the numbers on the pedal sensors.
