Diablo Intune problem
I have a 2005 Silverado,was a 5.3 H/O,4wd,4l65e.Now a 6.0. I have tried to change the shift times,shift firmness,etc. Nothing changes after the retune. It shifts the same.
Any ideas?
Thanks,Bill

Sorry for the late update.Been busy with the Holidays.
I`ve emailed Diablo about this issue.
Diablo keeps telling me to update the Intune,
It has the latest update according to their website.
I even sent them a copy of the info and tune files from the Intune.
Diablos response has been "Update the Intune, maybe that will fix it"
Diablo either doesn`t know or care how to fix it.
Apparently once they get your $400.00, Diablo could give a S*** less.
Their customer service is NON EXISTENT.

Thanks for all the help from the members.
I was in contact with a Mike Litsch from Diablo concerning the transmission problems listed above.
He wanted me to update the Intune again, which I did.
He the asked me to raise the upshift RPM, and reload the tune, which I did.
I sent him a copy of the files as he requested. His response was "Well, the shift
points are indeed changed in this file….."
Upon driving the truck,it now stalls, hesitates, has lower intake vacuum, lower idle RPM.
It also lopes when it idles for more than a minute or two.
I also noticed that my A/F ratio gauge is now anywhere from 17.5 to 12.3 when it is trying to idle. This is occurring since the last tune was installed. Nothing has changed with the transmission parameters.I have driven it this way about 25 miles. I`m going to put the stock tune back in and see if that fixes it. I also have a spare PCM that has the stock tune in it.Its a shame that the INTUNE does not work as advertised and they don`t seem to care about it.It sounds great in the ads but it does not work. I emailed Mike about the above new problems and asked if I could get a refund from Diablo. He told me "There are no gimmicks sir.We have 1000s of satisfied customers, I’m sorry that you are not seeing the changes you expected.
Please contact the retailer to return the product within our 30 day guarantee.
Thanks
Mike Litsch
I bought this last August.
So much for their warranty.
As I stated in an earlier post

I dont see how our customer service is non existent?
I did everything in my power to make sure the tuner was doing what it is supposed to, replied to all of your emails in a timely manner, and treated you respectfully even when you accused me of offering 'gimmicks'.
I'm sorry you are not happy, but I'll keep working with it until you are happy, whatever it takes.
Thanks

Apparently you need to read the above posts or check your emails from me,
if you kept them.
The answers I got when trying to resolve this issues from Diablo were worthless.
Ex: "Update the Intune, maybe that will fix it" ,
"Well, the shift points are indeed changed in this file….."
"There are no gimmicks sir.
We have 1000s of satisfied customers, I’m sorry that you are not seeing the changes you expected."
None of these "answers" have gotten my truck running right
or the trans shifting properly.
There are many more emails as this started in November. It has not been resolved.
If you want to see more of these types of answers, just read Diablo`s own forum.
I think the Diablo should stand behind their own 2 year warranty on the In tune and refund my money.
I had asked by email for a refund before and it also fell on deaf ears, the same as any other concerns I had with the Intune.

i had a diablo hand held scanner/tuner when i first bought my truck. i like the idea of being able to tune and check CEL's but i noticed that same issue you are having. or it would not write my tune and i could not start my truck. good luck on your refund i ended up having mine unlocked and sold it on craigs list. custom mail order tunes are the way to go. just remember for 100 more than you paid for that you could have done dyno tuning.
