diablosport intune tuning questions!!
#11
Hey I saw a video for a 4.8 Silverado and the guy was using a predator and he said on WOT fuel to select 1-3.8K to run it a tad rich to prevent burnt pistons, on the intune when you select it it shows a percentage of how much, what percentage should I use to make it slightly rich?? Or does the diablo tune run a little rich there already to prevent burning something up?

Trust us, a tune by Lew and your set man, don't believe us just look it up or talk to him

I also had a custom tune from lew when i was using my old preditor. Nice difference from even the canned tunes that come preloaded. Lew knows his stuff, save yourself the headache and get him to hook you up. You will have a smile on your face once he is done. Took him about 3 retunes on mine but i added headers after the first tune. Only reason he still isnt tuning mine is cuz the preditor didnt have tcm support like the intunes do so i went with hptuners/local speed shop.

and you really can't go by someone elses info/changes that they made for THEIR vehicle... you need to do data logs and see how YOUR specific vehicle is running, what it likes or doesn't like, etc... every vehicle is different... even if they're the same model and have similar mods... location/weather, fuel used, elevation/altitude, etc etc all play a role...

intune and hd2
I have a HD2 shift kit and before the intune it shifted hard. Now with the diablotune its crazy hard. I like it. But my question is, does anyone have experience with this ? Id like to know what people have parameters set at for diff things. As for me i just took 5 psi off the shift pressure and its a lil better but id just like to know where yall are with settings. I appreciate any info. Id just like to avoid blowing my tranny or rearend. Its a 4.8 so i didnt thing it had the *****. But it does.

reduce the shift pressure more... or I can hook you up with a custom tune and get you even better performance/gains, and get the tranny shifting straightened out as well...

Well i brought the line pressure down a bit more and i feel like ill never get it set comfortably. if a leave the parameters as they come will the tranny be ok as long as i keep my foot out of it? ive only changed the 1-2 shift in regular and tow. i broughht them both down 7 psi. felt better when it was at -4. feels sluggish at -7. this is all very new to me.
