took the dash apart tonight. The plug was sitting in the holder on the back of dash panel, just like you said. I like new toys, lol.

I know what you mean about the dealership. They had all kinds of neat stuff in there. I had to leave when I saw some nice rims, lol.

Which interior do you have? SLE1 / 2 SLT? Does it work on all of them? I would imagine it should. I am sure they should also swap from GMC - Chevy on the interior packages.

Incedently, I just purchased a 07 Crew Cab GMC. One of the rebates going on was $1000.00 towards GM accessories. The DIC switch in the link above (GM# 19159438) was one of the items you can get. So I chose it as one of my items. It was a bit more money than the GM accessory web site but I had to use the money or it goes away. Besides, the dealer gets to install it.
