Exclamation Double din install...sound keeps cutting off

installing a pioneer double din on a 06 silverado with onstar and bose...we have the right adapter harness everything turns on...sound comes on for about 10seconds then just goes away but cd player stays on...any ideas what it could be?this adapter has rca wires instead of speak wires to go to cdplayer harness....

could it be something with the relay for aux power how the radio stays on after you turn the key off? might have to find a different ignition source? Had to do that on a grand prix this weekend..but that was a messed up situation

If the headunit stays on and the CD playback keep running it might be the connections are not right or most likely the headunit is damaged ,pioneer sucks on that , I have had my Z3 repaired 3 times from the output both high and RCA output. I would try a driffent HD to rule that out.

damm this pioneer is like 4 months old ..we just swapped from 1 truck to another it was working fine so i know its got to be something simple liek a wire like u say...i thought it was the mute wire so we disconnected that one and the same thing happens....
