Exclamation dumb question

OK, all of you tuning gurus.... I have searched all of the posts in here but I need some info... I have a tr224 cam, that I want to install this weekend. I have all the springs, seals, getting pushrods, gaskets, and all the other parts. My question is, with a stock tune, will I be able to drive it to the dyno, or will I get reduced engine power, and not be able to drive it??? any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

thanks
Brian

Both Kano and myself spent lots of money with him and he couldnt even get my truck to idle and not die!!!
I even bought him and his assistant dinner because it was late and the guy treated me like an *******.
Bill can share his stories if he wants. Anyway I wouldnt let the guy tune my lawnmower but alot of people seem too like him. He has just as many unhappy people as he does happy, which too me doesnt say much. Go over to the local horsepowerjunkies.com forum and do a search. Personnaly I would spend the money on HPtuners and learn how to tune you will learn so so so much more and your truck will run alot better. Dyno tunes are bull ****.

Do you drive everywhere at 100% throttle? Because thats all he will tune for.

I could go on and on and on

just spend your money on HP tuners and follow the tuning guides.

My .02

You should roll out to piedmont dragway

thats an idea, hp tuners is that what you use??? Is it hard to tune these trucks??? I have always been the kinda adjustability can be lethal approach. I guess it just depends on how you look at it... I go to peidmont alot. or used to, My buddy has a rail that he runs there all the time...

Thanks for the info
Brian

I use HPT its not the easiest thing to learn but its well worth it in the end you run better times and no one will know your engine better than you.

Adjustability can kill things just start with the guides and do searches on ls1tech
