If you're running 10.8 on the gas scale, you're tune is all screwed up. That's an AFR of somewhere around 6.9 or 7 on the ethanol scale. You need to be around 10:1.

I think you need to just run it on gas for the time being until you get a wideband and do this thing properly.

If HPtuners, goto Engine, fuel tab, and under general tab... under the heading Air Fuel Ratio you'll see Stoich AFR.. EFI Live should be close.

Older OS's just show Stoich xx.xx, just change that accordingly, some newer ones may have flex fuel tables, so you can just put the desired Stoich in each cell across the table.

The PCM doesnt care what fuel you're using, it's your job to make it know what Stoich is for your fuel.

Normal gas tune runs about 1150-1200 cruising and only see 1500 towing heavy loads. What is causing the heat?? I was under the impression ethanol burnt colder. Thanks guys
chenge your injector scaling back to stock. do NOT change it. just the stoich as previously stated.

on 1.00 scale gasoline vs e85 the stoich lambda is the same. running an actual 10.8 afr at the o2 sensor is hosing the cylinders down. this is bad.

where is your egt probe?
