Well I think I have decided on HP tuners for the reason of compatibility with the local shop. Thanks guys. Saving my pennies now.

Do yourself a favor and get the pro version from the start. You'll be happier with it and you won't have to do the inevitable upgrade later.

I was going to say the same thing. Why even bother tuning yourself if you can't monitor AFR at WOT?

Yea these guys are right. You can run wire your wideband through your ac or egr signal but then you are only limited to one input. Get the pro, have multiple ports for adding devices, and be done.

How much is it? Looking on their site and it shows the VCM Suite Pro version for $649 and then below that is the Pro VCM Scanner for $499.
So it would cost $1,100-$1,200 for this software?

The VCM Suite Pro is a scanner and the tuner so that's all you need. The Pro scanner is JUST the scanner, no tuning capability.

I'll add to this as I say in everyone of these threads, I have both and prefer EFILive. (the reason I sell it ) It's what I am the most conferable with and love the block box stuff!! I use it all the time.

I like HP Tuners. My Partner likes EFI Live.

Both have access to most of the same area's and one may have access where another may not. Not a huge differance. I think EFI has better Torque Management tables, but HP Tuners has a better scanner.
