EFI Live Users opinions on Serial vs Analog Wideband logging
I am looking at getting a new Wideband. The ground offset issues and BEN inconsistancies are just pissing me off. I am on V1 currently and I am planning on upgrading to V2 and a new WB... I have done some reading on the EFI Live forum I was just wanting to hear some of yalls opinions on the upgrade. Did the BENs line up alot better and more consistant?
Thanks

But based on what I've seen with voltage offsets, I can already state with confidence that serial data will be significantly more reliable than any wideband's analog output.

Will be using serial data later this week when my new LC1 arrives. My old one is busted and my PLX M-300 doesn't have serial output.

I got to try the serial connection for 1 day before my truck broke again. It was cool...no worries at all about ground offsets That's definitely the way to go if you can do it.

No, because the serial data is read into the EFILive logging software through the V2 unit itself.
