Default EFILive V2 questions

I just update from a V1 to V2. I have updated my plx gauge to read off the EFILive serial port. I want to know witch pid need to use for the VE map in EFILive for the A/F gauge.

Thanks for the help.

Plug into the A1 ADL on the bottom of the V2 ( see back side for location of ADL port) with the supplied connector wired to your PLX.

Select the External Analog Voltage 1 (EXT.AD1) PID.

Select the Wide Band AFR 1 - PLX (CALC.AFR_PLX1) PID.

I think that should do it.

If you want to do AUTO-VE :

Select the Base Efficiency Numerator 1 - PLX (CALC.BEN_PLX1) PID and the Engine Coolant Temperature (SAE>ECT) PID and read up on the Auto- VE tutorial. Also good to know the Commanded Air Fuel Ratio (GM.AFR) PID so you can compare your actual AFR with your Commanded AFR.

You can select other PIDs you find interesting such as Throttle Position, RPM, Spark, IAT, MAP, KR up to 24 channels. Any more will greatly reduce the information collected.

Good luck.

I am not sure what you are looking for? Will one of the MAPS in the MAP Folder that comes with EFILive work?

{B0101} Main VE - PLX WO2 BEN (2Bar).map
{B0101} Main VE - PLX WO2 BEN.map

I did not think they had the pass threw logging available yet for serial input, only black box logging, meaning you would have to log with just the V2 scanner without your laptop. Then download it and view it? Have they updated this so you can see it real time on your laptop now?
